2. User Accounts

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your advertisements comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Classified.lk does not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, quality, safety, legality, or availability of any product, service, property, job, or other item advertised by users.

4. Prohibited Advertisements

Classified.lk may prohibit advertisements for products, services, activities, or content that we consider illegal, unsafe, misleading, inappropriate, fraudulent, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

We may remove, reject, edit, restrict, or disable any advertisement without prior notice where we reasonably believe that the advertisement:

  • Violates these Terms & Conditions.
  • Violates applicable law.
  • Contains misleading or inaccurate information.
  • Is fraudulent or potentially fraudulent.
  • Infringes another person's rights.
  • Creates a security or safety concern.
  • Is duplicated or improperly categorized.

5. Accuracy of Advertisements

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertisements accurately describe the products or services being offered.

Classified.lk does not verify every claim, photograph, price, specification, ownership statement, or other detail contained in advertisements.

Users should independently verify important information before entering into a transaction.

6. Transactions Between Users

Classified.lk is a platform for connecting users. Transactions between buyers and sellers are generally conducted directly between those parties.

Classified.lk is not responsible for:

  • The quality or condition of an item.
  • The authenticity or ownership of an item.
  • The accuracy of an advertisement.
  • Payment arrangements between users.
  • Delivery or collection of products.
  • Failure by a buyer or seller to complete a transaction.
  • Disputes between users.
  • Losses arising from transactions conducted through contacts obtained from Classified.lk.

Users are responsible for taking appropriate precautions before making payments, sharing personal information, or completing a transaction.

7. Safety

Users should exercise appropriate caution when communicating or meeting with other users.

Where appropriate, users should:

We do not guarantee that every advertisement will be reviewed or detected for every possible violation.

9. Rights Granted to Classified.lk

By submitting Content to Classified.lk, you grant Classified.lk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, adapt, distribute, and otherwise use that Content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, maintain, and improve the Classified.lk service.
